Joanna Jacobs, COTA/L, Owner/ Director
Joanna Jacobs is a board certified and licensed occupational therapy assistant. She has been practicing for over 12 years, having earned her occupational therapy degree and Bachelor’s in Health Sciences from Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, New York.
Joanna has vast experience working with children and their families, including working with children with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing disorder, musculoskeletal conditions, medical fragility, emotional disturbances, genetic disorders, and cognitive delays.
Joanna started out as an office manager for a pediatric sensory clinic in Westchester County, NY. While living in New York. She enhanced her skills working at a distinguished school and pediatric rehabilitation center based out of New York City.
OT & Me, LLC grew out of the need for more pediatric occupational therapy providers in the greater Harrisburg area. Joanna has a passion for looking at the whole child to make the best progress. This includes sensory-based approaches in addition to addressing fine motor, gross motor, coordination, executive functioning, visual processing, emotional regulation, visual motor, and social skills.
Amara Kreider, OTR/L
Amara Kreider has been serving the Central PA community as an occupational therapist since 2013. She is a graduate of Elizabethtown College’s Masters of Occupational Therapy Program. Amara has held positions in multiple pediatric settings including: school based, outpatient, Early Intervention and in-home therapy. Amara enjoys building relationships with children and their families and working together to target skills and areas of importance. She strives to incorporate the child’s interests into therapy and find out what motivates the child to achieve goals. Amara brings her expertise in the SOS approach to feeding as well as excellence with a family coaching model to OT & Me.
Dr. Mary Ashton Miranda, OTD, OTR/L
Ashton joined OT & Me in October 2020 following graduation from the University of Pittsburgh’s occupational therapy program – she is a graduate of the department’s inaugural Doctor of Occupational Therapy program. Receiving her doctorate provided her with an additional year of occupational therapy training in a setting that targeted intervention for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities of all kinds. Growing up in North Carolina, southern hospitality left a mark on Ashton to serve the individual and drove her initial interest in pursuing a profession in occupational therapy. Working in the school-based setting, Ashton is passionate about helping students grow in their own ways and helping them to achieve their optimal level of independence through interventions targeting play skills, visual perception and visual-motor skills, motor coordination, sensory intervention, and more! After graduating, getting married, and leaving Pittsburgh (her home since 2013), Ashton is ecstatic to grow her career in pediatric occupational therapy in her new home of Lancaster, PA with the OT & Me team.
Dr. Kristin Zink, OTD, OTR/L
Kristin Zink joined the OT & Me team in February 2021. She is from Columbus, Ohio and is a recent graduate from the University of Pittsburgh with her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy. Kristin has experience working with children in outpatient pediatrics as well as in a child care setting. Kristin strives to make a positive impact on the lives of children as she helps them succeed at anything they encounter or put their mind to. She enjoys encouraging others, finding solutions to difficult tasks, and working as an active member of a team to make a positive impact on a child’s life, no matter their diagnoses or personal story. Professional areas of interest include pediatric mental health, feeding disorders and Autism.
